Commercial Legal Counsel

About The Position

HUB is looking to add a new team member to the expanding legal department. You will help the rapidly growing public high-tech company negotiate and execute commercial transactions for customers worldwide and for incoming procurement requests. You will as well assist on a variety of internal legal matters such as marketing, IT, M&A, licensing, data protection laws etc.

We view the ideal candidate as one who is passionate to learn what it takes to run commercial agreements from start to finish. In this challenging position, you will partner with internal clients (Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Product Management and Cyber Security) in managing, negotiating and executing commercial transactions.

What you will be doing:

  • Become the first team member leading commercial matters, reporting to HUB’s Chief Legal Officer
  • Work with HUB’s Sales Organization to negotiate and close commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, SAAS Agreements, SPAs, APAs, DPAs etc.)
  • Work with HUB’s internal departments to negotiate and close procurement agreements
  • Remain updated on applicable laws and regulations surrounding IP, privacy and security
  • Support and advise on a wide variety of general legal matters throughout the different departments


  • 2-5 years of relevant legal experience as an in-house lawyer in a legal department of a high-tech company or in the commercial/high-tech department of a major law firm - mandatory
  • Law degree from a top academic institute
  • Certified Lawyer with an active Bar membership (not necessarily from the Israeli Bar)
  • English at a mother tongue level - mandatory
  • Prior experience working with large multinational customers and partners, preferably in technology-related agreements and SaaS
  • Prior experience working with NASDAQ traded companies - an advantage
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical skills; commercial transactions experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple matters and conflicting priorities, while balancing legal and business concerns
  • Experience with data privacy and security issues (CCPA, GDPR etc.)
  • Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days
  • Ability to work effectively remotely
